O.K, so locals are thrilled with the announcement, as well as with the 40 jobs the new pub will bring to the community, and the first night of service promises to be one to remember. Wetherspoons’ acquisition of the Kings Head is part of their expansion into the region, which also includes plans to transform the former Tuttles nightclub in Lowestoft into a three-storey superpub.

The Kings Head has been a Beccles landmark for centuries, and its reopening marks the start of a new chapter in the life of the town. We’d love to hear what you think of the new Wetherspoons, so let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. Watch this space for further announcements.
