Beccles Music Festival 2011

Beccles will welcome its music festival once again this year!

The event returns for its 5th consecutive year and will welcome a host of musical acts that range from classical quartets to jazz artists.

The Brodsky Quartet will be at the show in Beccles. The traditional string quartet are known for their vivid performances of Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert to name but a few.

The foursome have worked with several world renowned artists including Sting, Elvis Costello and Bjork.

Jacqui Dankworth also adds her Jazz voice to the mix, known for her wide variety of musical creations and adaptations.

If your looking for a bit of poetry, you won’t go home disappointed either. Matt Harvey will be the poet for the night at the Beccles Music Festival 2011. Harvey is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live and has recently published a new book.

And if Jazz, Classical and Poetry aren’t enough, Cambridge’s Kings College Choir are sure to produce a fantastic display of singing prowess.

Whatever your tastes the Beccles Music Festival is sure to bring sophistication to this season. Dates are yet to be announced and yet more acts are sure to be taking part.
