A good day my autistic son loved the ice skating but sadly waited 1hour45 mins to see Santa and ended up missing the show Santa was lovely but the gift didnt work when we got home(language translater)staff where really nice. Grab a bag stall was 3 pound and you got a rubbish prize inside . Train ride was good so were the rides but be prepared to spend money not a cheap day out.

I don’t think well be seeing fritton lake hosting a winter wonderland this year unless they have made a major overhaul of their plans! We went last year on reduced tickets from tickles and it was still overpriced. The show was not very good – the older ones in our group found it too childish and the really young ones just got bored. There was too much requiring additional money spent (not on given the entrance price) and the train ride in the dark was kind of boring. If they’d planned it they’d have used the train to take you to santas grotto and had all the wonderland lights along the path of the train. The time spent between the time we were told to arrive and the time we were to see Santa (given on entry to the park) was far too long no doubt an effort to make u spend money during the long wait. And finally whilst Santa was ok he didn’t give them their presents and they were ushered out to pick from a rack of toys (actually that was quite a good idea) but it was in a 1-man wide corridor and someone else came out from Santa whilst we still choosing – and tin of sardines springs to mind!

This was an enormous disappointment and a total waste of money. We try to do one special Christmas treat for the kids each year and this was AWFUL. It was VERY expensive, had no atmosphere, the staff were unhelpful, it seemed like it had been done on the cheap and I could have probably done something equal to this in my back garden. The tokens for the rides were also very expensive, the food awful and all in all a total waste of money and time. The marketing for this is very clever to lure people in, but the reality is dreadful. I must admit, I am not surprised that it is not running again this year (unless enormous changes were to be made) and I would definitely NOT recommend doing this.
