Fun in the Sun at Beccles Memorial Day Hospital Fete

This year’s annual Beccles Memorial Hospital Fete was a resounding success, drawing visitors from all over the region and the country.

Organised by the town’s Rotarians, the BEccles Memorial Hospital Fete is a ficture of the Beccles events calendar, and this year raised around £2,500 for the hospital trust.

John Warburton, chairman of the Rotary Club of Beccles fete committee, told the EDP: “It was a very, very good day. We had more people there than we have had several years

“It was the first good day of weather we have had for while and we had at least 200 or 300 people there and all the stall holders as well.”
