Moo Play Farm Has Closed Down
While Moo Play Farm in Beccles was a popular and much-loved tourist attraction, after a drop in quality led to customer dissatisfaction, the owners have decided to close it down.
We have received several emails informing us that despite the closure, Moo Play Farm is still listed on many lists of local attractions, and that there are still roadsigns leading to it. We have heard of several people making long journeys to visit Moo Play Farm and being disappointed. We’d like to make it clear that, despite any listings or signs you might see, Moo Play Farm is now closed.
Since the closure was sudden and unexpected, our site continued to list Moo Play Farm as an attraction over the summer, and we apologise for the inaccuracy.
i am very disappointed with moo play farm ,first i got charged over the odds ,there was 3 adults and a 3 year old ,and i had to pay 8 pound ,when it states 1pound per adult and 350 for a child ,but i had to pay 8 pound all together, and we couldnt see the aninals couse it was to muddy, and we only stayed for 20 minutes ,and my granddaughter was very disappointed ,and iwill never go there again .
I have seen lots of bad reviews online, but stupidly chose to ignore them!!! We drove an hour for an afternoon out, but was thoroughly disappointed. The farm was closed due to weather and no tractor ride (it was a lovely day and this was the main event for us), nothing on Facebook to say this and website confirms open 7 days for half-term. The indoor area is small, we paid £10.00 to get in and realised quickly that there was no farm etc. Unfortunately we had to feed the kids so ordered food very shortly after arrival with a plan to move on. None of our food order was available (all different items) so had to re-select. Our children played whilst we waited for our food, Tesco Value Chicken Nuggets (I saw the bag) – Not homemade or locally sourced food! After we ate we decided to move on quickly as not our planned idea of an afternoon out. Chairs were falling apart, I even witnessed one member of staff kick a piece of panel that had fallen from a chair across the floor! No soap in the toilets and they were left in a dirty state, so not regular checked! I did request our entry fee to be refunded as children only played whilst we waited for our food order and we did not benefit from what was advertised, but they were not having any of it – feel robbed to drive all that way for a cheap lunch – please read the negative reviews and take them seriously and do not waste a day like we did!! We ended up driving to a nearby beach and had much more fun in the fresh air.
